Hall of Fame game signals return of football

With the Denver Broncos 14-10 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Canton, Ohio on Thursday the starting gun has been fired for a seven month sprint to the Super Bowl in February.  As with every season, each team and their collective fans are renewed with hope and optimism for the chances of the favorite charge.

Prior to the start of the regular season the teams will play an exhibition schedule giving them a chance to evaluate the bottom of their roster and to knock the rust off of their primary talent.  Youngsters get their first taste of live game action, and coaches prepare their units to be in sync and working as one.

While the gambling action will be light during this portion of the season, I do use the time as my own preparation for finalizing power ratings and beginning the process of gathering information I use to put lines on these games.  I strongly believe that putting in the work before hand is a critical part of being a positive ROI guy on the gridiron, and the ability to adapt quickly to changes will give you that slightest edge over the rest and in the end analysis that type of skill is what is takes to be consistent.

College football is the most intense due to the sheer volume of games offered, but in that volume there are more opportunities for the line makers to produce “soft lines” and you are prepared then you can dine on those early lines while a lot of others will be trying to make that final decision on pulling the trigger.  Philosophically, the service I provide is all about being odds and lines driven, not the variety of psychological interpretations that can be found in lots of sports gamblers.  Setting the trend as opposed to reacting to the actions of others is the true route to the winner’s circle so be sure to taking your advice and consul from those are working from the lead.

Stay tuned for more and follow The Great White Capper this season and every season as the top predators are always looking for that next meal.
