NBA Playoffs – Game 5’s tonight

Raptors literally eviscerate the Bucks on Monday night and take a 3-2 series lead following their 118-93 win.  Toronto started strong and kept rolling throughout and down the stretch showed no mercy and now Milwaukee is up against serious odds following a decent showing to start this Eastern Conference series.  Teams winning Game 5 of a series tied 2-2 go on to win the series 82% of the time… solid odds showing the Raptors are most likely to advance.

The Warriors complete the sweep of the Blazers in ho-hum fashion on Monday night and left the Portland fans with nothing positive to remember following the 128-103 drubbing.  Golden State led 45-22 after the 1st quarter of action and the drama, if any ever existed, was obstensibly finished at that point.  The remaining 3 quarters was an exercise in pomp and circumstance

Atlanta was able to square up the Wizards in Game 4, at home, 111-101.  Reasonably close throughout, the Hawks were able to make the final run in the closing minutes of the game and that proved to be the deciding margin.  The home team has won the first four games of this series and as always the pivotal Game 5 back in the nation’s capital will go a long way in determining who moves on.
